We Are Influencers

Every day we encounter a variety of messages that want to affect us in different ways. Messages that say we should be or look a certain way to fit in.

Today's influencers count their followers in hundreds, thousands, or even millions, and they count the likes of their posts. But the greatest influencers of all time count their followers in the billions and look to their hearts. Jesus affected many people around him when he walked here on earth but he affects far more people today, through you and me.

We are called to be influencers who let themselves be influenced by God's love and then influence others with the same love.

The Bible says, "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Tim 4:12 NIV)

And we’re not influencers because we want to be famous and that everyone should know who we are. We are influencers because we want to influence others with love and kindness. We want to show on a new way to treat each other. To do everything for others. That’s why we’re influencers.

We can be influencers at our schools, just by showing our faith. We can do that by doing outreaches or just give someone a compliment. So let us be influencers at our schools and universities and share and show God’s love.
